Karen Norris

Karen worked at Enfield Council for 18 years and, when she left in May 2013, she was managing the successful work experience team at Enfield Education Business Partnership. In addition to her management expertise, Karen is a NEBOSH qualified health and safety professional. She has extensive experience of delivering high quality work experience programmes in London.

Her early career included working in the export division of Glaxo Pharmaceuticals (now Glaxo Smithkline) and running her own office services business.

Karen is the Operations Director of Sirrond Limited and leads on the delivery of Work Experience programmes.

Doug Norris

Doug is an experienced human resources professional and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). He has a Master's Degree in Management and is a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).

Doug's 25 years in senior management roles was split between ten years in the private sector and fifteen years in the public sector. When he took early retirement, Doug was a member of the Senior Civil Service at the Department for Education. His career highlights include finishing top of the government national league tables for Training & Enterprise Councils, co-ordinating major national HR transition projects, running large recruitment exercises and managing the national administration of the BT Apprenticeship programme.

He founded Sirrond Limited in January 2013 and is the Managing Director.
